The Murfreesboro Miracle Field in McKnight Park welcomes children and adults with special needs to play baseball. The field was supported by the Project One Four Foundation, the Foundation of Major League Baseball star David Price, as was the nearby inclusive playground. In addition to an extensive series of ramps, the playground delivers activities visitors of all abilities can enjoy including the Sway Fun® glider, OmniSpin® spinner, Roller Table™, Global Motion® and Rhapsody® Outdoor Musical Instruments. And a concrete sculpture of Price’s dog, Astro, sits atop a bench near the playground, which provides a great photo opportunity for visitors.
