The Creation of the World Playground at Grace Church

The Creation of the World Playground at Grace Church in Eden Prairie, Minn. turns timeless teachings into an immersive, all-ages play journey. Inspired by the Book of Genesis, the playground unfolds through five thoughtfully designed zones for infants through elementary-aged children, each inviting exploration through nature-themed forms and storytelling play. Smart Play® structures—including TreeTops® for ages 5–12, Sprig® for ages 2–5, and Nook® for toddlers—anchor the experience, while carefully selected freestanding elements like a custom fish climber and Permalene® animal forms bring the story to life.

Colorful, hilly safety surfacing sweeps through the half-circle layout, guiding movement and discovery. Sensory panels, a Cozy Dome®, an Oodle® Swing, and inclusive surfacing ensure every child can play, reflect, and belong.
