The colorful, flower-themed playscape at Kidventure in Anderson, South Carolina, is a feat of nature-inspired creativity, where play blooms like flowers and buzzes like bees. Colorful flower- and butterfly-shaped shade structures tower over the play environment, which is laid out to look like a flower, butterfly wing and friendly bee, thanks to the colorful safety surfacing and landscape design.

One petal of the flower design is an early childhood section, where the Smart Play® Centre is a hub of imaginative play, sensory exploration and motor skills development for preschoolers.

Another petal is a nature-inspired and thoroughly ramped PlayBooster® mainstructure with lifelike concrete logs and rocks shaped to enhance the outdoorsy feel. There's a section that contains a turf hill with a double slide and a Rollerslide on its slope, and another for the zooming motion of the ZipKrooz® zipline. Finally, the butterfly wing is home to a multi-bay swing set that has seat options for children of all abilities.

And what's more, the yellow center of the flower is a shady spot for caregivers to sit, relax and watch the play around them. Looking to cool off? An Aquatix® splash pad is nearby, shaped like a friendly bee.
