The playground at the Children's Center for Communication and Development at the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg is flush with learning and sensory panels, imaginary play houses and motor play features for the early childhood age group. Learning panels feature early literacy essentials, like the Tracing Panel plus tactile and visual elements like the Mirror Panel® and Marble Panel. Musical play options abound, both in the Chimes Panel and the freestanding Rhapsody® Outdoor Musical Instrument collection.

Curious youngsters will enjoy the Smart Play® Fire Station + Market Cafe for imaginative play and social skills development, while others might find joy in the Splash Circuit™ water-based sensory table.

Kids looking for a bit of thrilling motion will seek out the ZipKrooz® track ride or the Topsy Turny® Spinner. And what's best, four royal blue SkyWays® shade sails arch over the play area, keeping the children cool and comfortable underneath.
