Set in the Rondo neighborhood of St. Paul, Minnesota, the Dunning Park playground was brought to life by the KABOOM! organization. The mission of KABOOM! is to eliminate playground inequity by building play spaces in underserved areas, so that all children can enjoy the magic of outdoor playtime. This multifaceted playground boasts separate sections for children based on age, with developmentally appropriate play options like slides, climbers, overhead bars and more, for each age group. For 5 to 12-year-olds, a PlayBooster® mainstructure is accompanied by a track ride, 4-seated seesaw, and ReviWheel® Spinner. The PlayShaper® structure, made especially for the preschool-aged crew is next to a swing set for all ages. What’s more, roofs and shades provide sun protection so the play can continue through the hottest and sunniest times of day.
