Thornton Creek Elementary School created its playground after winning the grand prize of the School Grounds. Playgrounds. Common Ground.™ essay contest held in partnership with the National Association of Elementary School Principals Foundation (NAESPF) in 2012. In addition to the playstructure with many sensory-rich components, there are many freestanding components that encourage inclusive play like the We-saw™, OmniSpin® Spinner and Oodle® Swing.
