There is something for everyone at Catalpa Oaks Park including two play structures for kids ages 2 to 5 and 5 to 12. The playground for 5- to 12-year-olds offers a variety of play experiences with the Single Wave Poly Slide, many climbers like the Lollipop Climber, and spinning events like the Blender Spinner and OmniSpin Spinner. The play structure for 2- to 5-year-olds features a SlideWinder2, Pod Climber, Cozy Coaster Slide, Wee Pod Climber and Imagination Table.

Young boy: We go down and then over there and then we go back.

Ian: We actually only live a couple miles from here so, it's a good way for us to get outside and walk, come out to the park...

Ian voiceover: First thing that attracted us to this park was how eccentric it was and how futuristic it was.

Ian: Yeah, so as soon as that opens in the spring we want to get out there and start playing on it.
