This beautiful, shaded community park playground at the Ward County Event Center in Monahans, Texas with an adjacent Aquatix® LED splash pad is an oasis of fun for all ages. Under rust-colored triangle SkyWays® shade sails, children flock to a variety of innovative commercial playground structures that are magnetic to kids ages 2 to 12. Novel shapes and angles abound as children choose from the geometric GeoPlex® climbers to the wiggly JigJag Climber or the looping Ring-a-Ling™ Overhead Event. A sculptural Crab Trap® with Alpine® Slide is a central feature and a major draw to kids with its endless possibilities for net climbing exploration. Inside the Crab Trap is an O-Zone® 3-Ring Climber for additional fun and there’s accessible ramping so kids of all abilities can climb and play. A fascinating collection of Rhapsody® Outdoor Musical Instruments are delightful for children looking to tinker with music – drums and a metallophone offer sensory sound play as an alternative to the motor skills challenge of climbing and sliding.
