This delightfully abstract and compact playground is the perfect addition to St. Paul, Minnesota's new downtown Pedro Park. Complete with gardens, public art, a spacious pavilion area and more, the park was created to meet the diverse needs of urban visitors. Pulling from the park's overall modern design concept, which included a vibrant mural of spiral-patterned red dots and abstract curves and angles, the play area flows seamlessly into the park landscape. The 8-foot-tall main climbing structure features graduated challenges, offering children multiple paths for navigation and a variety of climbing sensations. Whether net-based, rubberized belting, suspended pods or a funnel-shaped tunnel with hand- and foot-holds, this custom creation offers novel climbing options and circuitous routes. Adjacent to the main structure, a Hillscape Climber beckons like two rippling waves, complete with cozy spaces beneath and sensory panels reflect the red pops of color from the surrounding design. Footprint® Steppers, Wobble Bouncers and a Blender™ Spinner offer motion and balance play, while a LolliLadder™ w/ E-Pods and a Chinning Bar welcome hanging, swinging and upper-body strength development.
