Play meets history and creativity at Broad Commons Park! At the heart of this Doylestown-themed playground is a charming, child-size replica of the iconic Fonthill Castle, paying tribute to the legacy of archaeologist and tile maker Henry Chapman Mercer. Kids can enter the castle-themed playground structure via rope climbers or rock climbers to explore the inside of the tower, which is complete with faux Mercer tiles inspired by the decorative ceramics Mercer created during the Arts and Crafts movement. Beyond the castle, kids can immerse themselves in nature-inspired adventures with features like a climbable tree stump structure, log slide and rock and log climbers that spark imaginations. For even more excitement, the OmniSpin® spinner provides dynamic, inclusive play, while the Rhapsody® Outdoor Musical Instruments invite children to create their own melodies.
