This inclusive playground at the Children's Hospital Therapy Center in Columbia, Missouri, provides kids with fun activities that help aid rehabilitation therapies in a playful way. Children ages 5 to 12 can climb the Glass Fiber Reinforced Concert (GFRC) wall, then onto the back of realistic-looking—but very friendly—tiger. A nearby sensory wall features a gorilla and giraffe, too. Sensory-rich play panels are scattered throughout this literal zoo of activity to engage kids at every opportunity. Mamma and baby hippos that spray a light mist out of their noses have kids laughing non-stop! Accessible bond-in place safety surfacing with a customized alligator in-lay allows children to freely move around the playground.
