At The Metropolitan Learning and Wellness Center for young children in Chicago, Illinois, two separate play areas entertain (and quietly teach) their important clientele. For kids ages 6 to 23 months, slides and crawl tunnels are perfect avenues for safe discovery and imaginative play. A tracing panel allows letters and numbers to be a part of everyday play. The second playstructure offers additional challenges for children ages 5 to 12, like the opportunity to climb a little higher, attempt a few overhead events, even learn Braille. Multiple slides encourage these kids to create their own circuits up, down, and all over again.
