After 30 years of rough-and-tumble play, the authentic F-6 Skyray jet fighter—a neighborhood landmark in this Oxnard, California, park—had seen better days. We created a fighter jet using Permalene® panels, revitalizing the playground while honoring its legacy. This custom PlayBooster® playstructure offers kids ages 5 to 12 fun new opportunities for challenging, imaginative play. The jet fighter theme is carried throughout the playground, including an overhead event that mimics a jet wing. Detailed jet control panels are paired with Talk Tubes for critical pilot-to-copilot communication.
