Bring a lunch when you visit Hal and Berni Hanson Regional Park in Aldie, Virginia because you will need a whole day to explore this phenomenal playground. There is so much climbing, sliding and spinning to experience that visitors will never want to leave.

The sprawling park features enticing net play stations, each one its own complete play experience, enhanced with nature-inspired rock climbers, slides or swings that add variety and fun. Kids can spend time exploring each net climbing section, navigating its springy cause-and-effect sensation, before moving on to another. On a hillside in the center of the play area, slides, roller slides and over-under bars provide sensory delight and fitness testing. At the top of the hill, a Global Motion® spinner is an accessible merry-go-round that multiple kids of all abilities will enjoy at once. Extensive ramping and pour-in-place rubberized surfacing ensure that children and adults with mobility devices can participate in the fun.
