Franklin Park has activities for the whole family—toddlers to grandparents! The Hedra® playsystem delivers a unique geometric play experience for kids ages 5 to 12. There are continuous circuits of playground nets, belt climbers and a thrilling ride down the Alpine® Slide. Nearby is a custom Hedra Tower with a playground net climber up to the pod where kids can get a birds-eye view of the entire play environment and then take a ride down a custom tunnel slide. Toddlers and preschoolers find age-appropriate challenge in the Motion playstructure, which is part of the Smart Play® family. And finally, HealthBeat Circuit® activated by FitLot was included to provide community members of all ages and abilities access to a fitness facility. The outdoor fitness equipment offers strength, cardio, balance and flexibility training all in one circuit, plus integrated SkyWays® shade sails help provide protection from the sun.
