Fairview Park

Fairview Park in Sherman, Texas invites the community into a leafy, nature-inspired wonderland where climbing, exploring, and imagining feel as organic as the setting itself. Designed with zones for ages 2 to 5, and 5 to 12, the playground layers vertical challenges and rolling elevation changes to create a dynamic play experience shaped by movement and discovery.

Custom PlayBooster® towers with wood-like paneling rise from a marsh-inspired play surface, where lily pad Pod Climbers®, blue creeks, and custom climbing bridges of various forms and materials guide children from one idyllic spot to the next. Custom leaf wall climbers, a Hillscape® Climber, and a double-bay ZipKrooz® track ride encourage kids to test balance, strength, and confidence from multiple angles. Custom leafy elements abound and a massive concrete climbing “boulder” reinforces the natural theme while adding tactile interest.

Inclusive design is a core foundation, with ramped access, rubber belting on climbers, a Cozy Dome® and Sway Fun® Glider for all to enjoy. By revitalizing a century-old park, Fairview Park creates a welcoming space where children of all abilities can shape their own adventures—and where families can gather, relax, and connect amid nature-inspired play.
