The Jaime Beth Slavin Park is named after a 16-year-old Woodland Hills girl who died in 1983 of Reye's syndrome. This circus-themed playground brings families and children of all abilities together to learn, play and grow. Kids can interact with concrete-sculpted zoo animals and sensory-rich activity panels, take in a show at the Big Top stage, or stay active with the many climbers, slides and gliders. This playground was built in partnership with Shane’s Inspiration, the only Los Angeles-based nonprofit organization specializing in the design and educational programming of inclusive playgrounds.

Installed: June 2013
