Allison: We had initial discovery call with the Disney people, a number of months ago and they told us they wanted to do a Monster's University theme playground.

Allison voiceover: So, I did a lot of research I had seen the movie, I have little kids who love monsters. We did initial concepts for them on both of the structures and then presented our initial concepts to Disney and they loved them.

Allison: It's so fun to get to see the kids playing on it, interacting with it and having fun.

Allison voiceover: Seeing the big giant eyeballs and all the monsters it's really awesome.

J.T.: Somewhere in two thousand, they reached out and said what about doing a playground at Epcot during the Flower and Garden Festival.

J.T. voiceover: Creating an except-able playground to integrate kids into the garden. So, for the last couple of years they've seen these play environments to go along with one of the movies and so kids have just gone wild over Mike and Sulley and all the things about the Monsters U.

In 2014, Landscape Structures celebrated its 12th year of participating in the Epcot® International Flower and Garden Festival. This year featured a children's play area called "Mike and Sulley's Monstrous Garden," which showcased a monster-themed Eclipse® Net Plus to welcome kids ages 5 to 12 and, a university-themed play structure for younger kids to climb, slide and interact with play activities.
