Landscape Structures wins Classics Award

We are delighted to share the news that Landscape Structures has been honored with a prestigious Classics Award by the Minnesota chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). This award recognizes our exceptional PR campaign titled "No Child Left Behind on the Playground: The Case for Inclusive Equipment."

Back in 2014, we embarked on a mission to challenge the perspectives of parents, community members, and recreation managers by conducting a comprehensive survey involving nearly 900 participants. The primary aim was to advocate for investments in inclusive playground equipment that caters to children of all abilities. The survey findings shed light on the significance of inclusive play, prompting swift and widespread engagement with the topic.

Our campaign efforts resulted in the creation of 19 compelling video clips, reaching an impressive 1.8 million viewers and leaving a lasting impact on public awareness. More significantly, this initiative led to an impressive 20 percent surge in the construction of inclusive playgrounds in 2014 alone.

The insights gathered from the survey continue to be instrumental in our ongoing mission to emphasize the vital importance of inclusive play for children of all abilities. This Classics Award serves as a testament to our commitment to promoting accessible and inclusive play spaces that bring joy and enrichment to children from all walks of life.
