Landscape Structures-Sponsored Keynote Speaker Encourages RIRPA Members to “Take Time to Think” 

March 11, 2013 —Landscape Structures Inc., a Delano, Minn.-based commercial playground manufacturer, along with its Rhode Island playground consultant, M.E. O'Brien & Sons, Inc., is scheduled to exhibit at the Rhode Island Recreation & Park Association Annual Conference and Tradeshow on March 15 in Portsmouth. The conference will feature Jeff Yalden, a certified speaking professional and author, as the keynote speaker. This learning experience was made possible through the 2012-2013 State Association Speaker Scholarship program from Landscape Structures.

Jeff Yalden is a nationally recognized expert on how to motivate teens. Through his presentations and educational resources, Jeff specializes in helping teens feel positive about themselves, build character, learn teamwork, respect others, appreciate diversity, practice kindness, and become leaders. Jeff believes that success depends on one's worldview—how people perceive their position in the world. His stories of personal transformation uplift and entertain, for Jeff is living, breathing proof of the miracles available to every human.

The 75-minute session will be presented at 10:15 a.m. on Friday, March 15. Following the keynote address, delegates will have the opportunity to visit M.E. O'Brien & Sons and Landscape Structures in the exhibit hall to learn about the latest trends in playground design, including custom and theme designs, concrete as a playground material, and creating truly inclusive play environments.
