All kids love using
playground equipment, but in an attempt to boost excitement and creativity even further, Landscape Structures, a
commercial playground equipment manufacturer, recently announced its latest idea to brighten up its equipment.
Landscape Structures, known for creating innovative and
inclusive play structures for kids of all abilities, will soon be introducing new
playground colors and designs meant to get children to engage in
natural play. The hues are more vibrant and lively than one might usually see at a playground, and the new structures are inspired by both natural and urban themes.
According to the company's official statement, it came up with a new color scheme to attract more attention. The statement indicates that the company feels color has the ability to change children's moods, help them showcase their individual personalities and create better experiences while using the equipment.
"We noticed a trend with our customers," said Tory Roff, custom products designer and Landscape Structures’ color expert. "Instead of choosing primary green and red, they leaned toward our richer, bolder colors. Color matters. It hugely affects the way we live in our environment. And to miss that with
playgrounds would be tragic."
Along with the company's change in colors comes change in how they run consultations. Now, when members of Landscape Structures meet with new clients, they'll try to evaluate where the play sets will go to find colors for the new structures that blend in with the scenery.
