Sessions sponsored by Landscape Structures provide educational value
Delano, Minn. (Jan. 24, 2011) — Landscape Structures Inc., a Delano, Minn.-based commercial playground manufacturer, along with its South Carolina playground consultant, General Recreation, Inc., will attend the Southern Leisure Management & Trends Institute Jan. 30-Feb. 1, in Rock Hill. The Institute will feature professional development sessions, two of which were made possible through a 2010-2011 State Association Speaker Scholarship program from Landscape Structures.
The first session, presented by Ed Gagnon, will focus on customer service and how park and recreation agencies can use social media to reach out to and interact with customers. The second session will be presented as a case study on trains and open spaces. Presenters Dr. Steve Hooker and Dr. Julian Reed will speak to attendees on evaluating investments and how to plan for future projects.
