Landscape Structures, one of the leading commercial playground equipment manufacturers in the world, has designed, manufactured, installed and delighted children with more than 50,000 playgrounds worldwide.
We are currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Northeast United States to drive top-line revenue growth through our independent sales organizations located in North Eastern United States. This position is responsible for leading rep principals and rep organizations in the development and implementation of business plans, sales strategies and performance standards.
POSITION EXPECTATIONS
- Alignment with Landscape Structures Culture and Values: Innovation, Passion, Commitment, Integrity, Team and Relationships
- Partner with rep principals and playground consultants to identify new market opportunities and create plans to drive growth for distributor and Landscape Structures.
- Analyze sales metrics to assist in creating business and sales plans for the region and specific territories.
- Stay current on competition, market and regional trends, customer needs, localized economic and demographic factors. Adjust sales strategies to address these needs.
- Responsible and accountable for the achievement of established revenue and gross profit goals.
- Oversee project leads, pipeline and sales development efforts.
- Facilitate project progress by assisting sales representative organizations with sales presentations, negotiating and closing sales and utilizing all available tools.
- Prepare and present weekly project pipeline and sales forecast.
- Represent the company at various regional and national trade association meetings and shows in order to promote and differentiate products and their benefits.
- Provide leadership through effective communication with rep principals, playground consultants, strategic partners, co-workers, and end customers.
- Regular coaching and counseling to build motivation and selling skills within the LSI team of playground consultants.
- Identify, evaluate and recruit new distributors.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in business, sales or related field; master’s degree preferred
- 7+ years in a sales/sales leadership role, preferably focused on premier products
- Proven ability to develop and mentor a high performance sales organization
- Demonstrated skill in evaluating performance and developing colleagues
- Demonstrated history of consistently and significantly growing sales in previous positions
- Experience with bids, RFP’s and negotiated sales
- Experience managing independent rep organizations preferred
- Strong communication and relationship management skills
- Strong change management acumen
- Able to travel approximately 60% of the time.
