Inclusion Matters® by Shane's Inspiration

Inclusion Matters by Shane’s Inspiration brings communities together through the power of inclusive play. Through its My Playground® program, the organization helps create fully inclusive playgrounds and programs where children with and without disabilities can play, connect and grow together. Each playspace is thoughtfully designed to support physical, cognitive, social and sensory development, with varied play experiences that reflect the needs and character of the community. By bringing diverse partners together around a shared vision for inclusion, Inclusion Matters helps communities create spaces where every child can participate, build relationships and feel like a valued member of their community.

Building a More Inclusive World

For more than 25 years, Landscape Structures and Inclusion Matters by Shane’s Inspiration have shared a belief that every child deserves the chance to play, connect and belong. That relationship began in 1998, when Landscape Structures helped bring the organization’s vision for its first fully inclusive playground to life. Since then, we’ve worked side by side to create nearly 50 universally accessible playgrounds around the world, while continuing to learn, innovate and advocate for inclusive play. From playgrounds in Mexico and Ecuador to projects surrounding the Winter Olympics, our partnership has taken us around the globe—and brought us closer to our shared vision of a more inclusive world through play.
